The term La Tène art refers to artwork associated with the La Tène culture. Based around modern day Switzerland, the culture made it’s way across Europe and it’s existence roughly followed the existence of the Celtic culture. In it’s final era it was pushed to the far west of Europe and was seen mainly in the Insular art style of Ireland and Britain.
